Product Tips and Care

THE FIRST BURN: SETTING THE FOUNDATION

The first time you light your candle is crucial. Allow the wax to melt evenly across the entire surface before extinguishing to prevent tunneling. For best results, keep it burning for approximately two hours.

FOLLOWING BURNS: MAXIMIZING PERFORMANCE

To ensure an even burn and make the most of your candle, always allow the wax to reach the edges of the container. Avoid burning for longer than four hours at a time to maintain longevity and safety.

WICK MAINTENANCE: A SIMPLE STEP FOR LONGEVITY

Before each use, trim the wick to 1/4" to promote a clean, steady burn and prevent excessive flame or soot buildup.

REPURPOSING YOUR CANDLE: UPCYCLE WITH CARE

If you'd like to transform your candle vessel into a vase, drinking glass, or reusable container, be sure to clean it out completely. Follow these steps for a safe and effective process:

  1. Freeze Method – Place the candle in the freezer overnight to help loosen any leftover wax.

  2. Hot Water Rinse – Run warm tap water over the wax to soften it, then gently remove any remaining pieces using a wooden tool. (Tip: Hold the base of the glass for added stability—it’s thick and durable!)

  3. Wick Tab Removal – If the wick tabs don’t come off easily, soak the glass in warm water with dish soap for about 10 minutes before trying again.

  4. Deep Clean – Wash the container thoroughly with soap and warm water. For an extra level of cleanliness, we recommend running it through the dishwasher.

  5. Reuse Creatively – Fill it with fresh flowers, use it for storage, or find a new eco-friendly purpose for your beautifully repurposed glass.

Enjoy your candle to the fullest—and when it’s finished, give it a second life!
